npower Football League Fan Club

Eligibility

1. The npower Football League fan club is open to all npower residential gas and/or electricity customers. For this reason members must be 18 or over and resident in such parts of the UK supplied by npower (excludes Northern Ireland).
2. Only one (1) membership of the npower Fan Club is permitted per household. Third party or bulk applications will be excluded from membership. Applications must be completed in full.
3. Members must nominate an npower Football League club as their ‘home’ team for the purposes of the Big Ticket Giveaway Prize Draw and any other individual club related communications or offers.

Duration of Membership

4. An eligible customer can become a “Member” of the npower Fan Club by completing the online application form at www.npower.com/football-league. A Member will retain membership for as long as they remain an eligible customer at the property contained in the application form and have not appointed a new supplier, or given notice that they no longer wish to be supplied by npower at their property, or moved from the at the property contained in the application form. Membership will cease on any of those events occurring. Membership must be reapplied for in such cases, if required.
5. The membership benefits of any new npower customer will begin three (3) days after notification of a customer account number. Membership benefits of any existing npower customer will begin three (3) days after your application to join the npower Football League fan club has been received by npower.
6. The npower Football League fan club and membership benefits may be withdrawn at any time.

Use of Personal Details

7. Members’ agree that by joining the npower Football League fan club, their personal details provided will be used for membership benefits including exclusive npower Football League Fan Club communications containing npower offers and promotions, competitions, football and club related content and lots more. Such communications may be by email, telephone, SMS or post. Members’ personal details will also be used for automatic entry to the npower Football League Big Ticket Giveaway prize draw in accordance with its terms and conditions (although certain members may not be eligible – please see prize draw condition 2) and contact with winners. We may pass information about you to our agents and service providers for all of these purposes.
8. Members agree that by joining the npower Football League fan club, their personal details will also be passed to their nominated home club for use by that club for communicating club promotions, offers and club related content. Such communications may be by email, telephone, SMS or post.
9. If you do not wish to receive any such communications you can opt out of them, but you will no longer be eligible for npower Football League fan club membership, which will come to an end.
10. Your personal details may be used for marketing communications that are not npower Football League fan club and relate to products, services and special offers from the Promoter and its associated companies via post, e-mail, telephone and/or SMS if you have opted in.
11. Members must let npower know if any of their personal details change so that we can keep this information up to date.

npower Football League Big Ticket Giveaway Prize Draw

Structure of the Big Ticket Giveaway

1. The npower Football League Big Ticket Giveaway comprises separate prize draws (each being a “Draw”) in relation to the npower Football League matches scheduled to be played in each calendar month (“Fixture Month”) during the npower Football League season 2010/11. Each Draw:
• is subject to these Terms and Conditions;
• relates to the home matches of an npower Football League team scheduled to be played in a Fixture Month;
• will draw separate winners at random in respect of each home match during the Fixture Month;
• will take place on the following dates in the 2010/11 season and will relate to the following Fixture Month:
• Monday 12th July 2010
• Monday 9th August 2010
• Monday 13th September 2010
• Monday 11th October 2010
• Monday 15th November 2010
• Monday 13th December 2010
• Monday 10th January 2011
• Monday 7th February 2011
• Monday 14th March 2011
• Monday 11th April 2011
• Draw dates for following seasons will be posted in these Terms and Conditions in advance of each season.
2. Members of the npower Fan Club (“Members”) whose membership benefits have begun not less than 3 days before the relevant Draw date will automatically be entered into each Draw relating to the npower Football League team that they have nominated as their home team. No purchase is necessary for entry into each Draw. Members are required to nominate a home team in order to be entered into a Draw. Prizes can only be awarded to a Member in respect of the home team they have nominated. Any members employed by any third party engaged by the Promoter to carry out services in relation to the npower Football League Big Ticket Giveaway prize draw, or otherwise connected with the carrying out of a Draw, are excluded from entry to each Draw.
3. The Promoter reserves the right to terminate, suspend or vary the Big Prize Draw and any Draws within it to the extent required for compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, code of practice or the requirements of any statutory, governmental, regulatory or self-regulatory body.
4. The Promoter reserves the right to vary any of these terms and conditions in order to improve the organisation or efficiency of the Big Ticket Giveaway or any aspect of it. Notice of any such change will be given by posting varied terms and conditions here.
5. All Members will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by these terms and conditions and by any other requirements set out in promotional material or communications relating to the npower Fan Club, as if they were set out in these terms and conditions.
6. The Promoter is Npower Limited (registered in England and Wales No. 3653277). Registered Office: Windmill Hill Business Park, Whitehill Way, Swindon, SN5 6PB.

Prizes

7. Each prize is a pair of general admission tickets to an npower Football League Match of the home team nominated by the winner.
8. No element of the prize is transferable and there is no cash alternative to the prize. Winners must not transfer, sell or offer the tickets to any third party for monetary or personal gain.
9. All costs associated with use of any prize tickets are the responsibility of their winner.
10. Each prize is subject to occurrence of the relevant match. The Promoter is not responsible for the manner in which any match takes place or ensuring it takes place at all. Organisation of the npower Football League is the responsibility of The Football League Limited. The staging of individual matches is the responsibility of the relevant npower Football League club. The Promoter has no responsibility in relation to the use of any prize tickets or the organisation or conduct of the match or any related or surrounding events (including liability for rescheduling, delays, interruptions or cancellations).
11. All prize tickets are subject to npower Football League terms and conditions and those of the relevant ticket issuer.
12. Winners will be contacted and advised whether their home club will post the tickets or if they will be available to collect from the relevant club on the relevant match day, subject to the requirements of the club. The Promoter accepts no liability for undelivered, lost, mislaid or delayed tickets

Winners

13. Each draw will be made by an independent person appointed by the Promoter for the purpose of organising and conducting Draws. Members acknowledge that their personal details will be passed to such person for this purpose. Winners will be drawn at random from Members at the date of the draw. Each Member drawn will win a prize. In addition to the winner, two (2) reserve winners will be drawn to allow for inability to contact the original and first reserve winner. The Promoter (or nominated third party on its behalf) will use reasonable endeavours to contact the original winner and if necessary the first reserve using the contact details provided by the relevant Member. Thereafter, the Promoter is under no obligation to award the relevant prize.
14. Once a Member has won a prize, they will not be entered into any further Draw under the npower Football League Big Ticket Giveaway during the same npower Football League season.
15. Winners must not be subject to any applicable venue or event banning order and must not take, as a guest, anyone subject to the same.
16. Winners agree that they may be required to appear and participate in publicity and/or media activity (such as broadcast or print media interviews or those conducted by the Promoter for its own internal or external promotions).
17. Any misuse of prize tickets may result in exclusion from further Draws.
